Hi everyone :) Hope your life is good and less stressful than mine right now.

Very busy at the minute so have been lazy with updating this. I've been painting painting painting this week non-stop though, so i've got a lot to post! I think i'll break it down over a few days though as i want to keep this chronological and i need to sort my photos out anyway.

Anyway, enough rambling. PHOTOS!

I've added the furry pink rug and painted in her leg in these photos, but they're a bit old...so this one is looking more finished in the flesh. In the actual painting, the fur is looking more realistic, and her hair is finished so i'll have to update this again soon.

Generally very happy with this though! :)

This is my first blog entry! I'll mainly be using this to upload recent images of my artwork and images from other artists who interest me. I thought I'd start with an image from last semester. It is a 5ft x 3ft oil painting concerning pattern, textures, and colours within drapery and the human form. I was also looking at fragments of images and how cropping can completely change an image.

I really enjoyed making this piece and am pleased with the final result. However, I am currently in my second semester and have changed my focus somewhat...but I'll get to that another time. :)
